This course is designed for staff working in high risk areas or front line mental
health and/or learning disability service. Employees who are potentially exposed
to aggression and violence during the course of their duties. Typical attendees include:
nurses, community health workers, elderly carers, dementia staff, care home staff,

PMVA L3 Breakaway – physical intervention training including basic breakaway techniques,
assisted walking and restraint training
All Blue Concept physical training courses are delivered by fully qualified General
