Who is behind Blue Concept Training?
Blue Concept Training was established in 2002 by Mark Millard.
Mark is a nationally recognised trainer, consultant, coach and speaker on: conflict management, de-escalation strategies, physical interventions training, resolving team conflicts and individual conflict coaching.
With over thirty years of experience in Conflict Management, beginning in the trenches of heavy industry and extending to senior management positions, he has been a business manager, training consultant and business owner.
Mark’s mission is to impact everyone who he consults with, trains or coaches in such a way that they develop powerful skills, insights and strategies to manage conflict, aggression and violence effectively and with confidence.
In 2002 Mark launched his own training and consulting company, Blue Concept Training, with a mission to provide training, strategies and inspiration to employees and business owners who deal with conflict management or have the potential to face aggression and violence during their daily duties. Blue Concept deliver conflict management training to help to successfully manage conflict and stay safe. With a successful track record that spans over a decade, Mark has built up a team of experienced, conflict management training professionals who deliver training all over the UK
Mark’s passion and enthusiasm are hallmarks of his presentation skills. He has consulted for, trained and given presentations, to some of the country’s best-known organisations, including the NHS, Mind, Local & County Councils, Hospitals, Regional Employer Organisations, National Supermarkets and Blue Chip Companies.
Mark and a number of his team members are fully qualified General Services Association Tutors. This enables them to provide a comprehensive range of physical intervention courses, including basic breakaway techniques and a safe holding system. Mark joined the General Services Association Board of Directors in 2012.
